the nyu subreddit, an online forum of students and community members, can be a great place to learn helpful tips from upperclassmen, find new spots around. explore the latest news, discussions, and updates about new york city on reddit's dedicated subreddit. generally the more specific the nyc subreddit is, the more tailored it is to local interests. For example the borough subreddits are pretty good and then the neighborhood ones. r/nyc is 650k, r/newyorkcity is like 150k so this one is smaller. At this point they are fully interchangeable imo, same bs mostly just get crossposted. Once upon a time r/nyc was.
